Please join fellow APRL members on Tuesday, June 18, at 11:00 am (Eastern) via Zoom for a special presentation featuring Amit Kacchia-Patel, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI New York Office, Cyber Branch, discussing the current cyber threat assessment for businesses, including law firms and insurers. Mr. Kacchia-Patel will discuss strategies to respond to cyber-attacks, providing valuable insight for practitioners managing their own firms, as well as preparedness to respond to urgent client needs in the event of an intrusion.
Since 2022, Mr. Kachhia-Patel has overseen the largest FBI computer intrusion program encompassing 100 personnel investigating nation state and criminal cyber threats. Mr. Kachhia-Patel has 20 years of experience as an FBI Special Agent having worked counterintelligence, insider threat and cyber matters as a front-line investigator, program manager as well as advisor to two FBI Directors. He has also managed some of the largest cyber incidents to include Sony Pictures destructive malware attack, OPM and Anthem hacks. Mr. Kachhia-Patel holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
